Building a subwoofer cable requires a different approach than the that of other signal cables. The necessarily longer runs must be accounted for, because what may work flawlessly in a two meter cable will not produce the same fidelity in runs two or three times as long. The wrong blend of materials and their respective sizing can easily result in capacitance problems, and any delay in your bass delivery does not go unnoticed.
At the core of the SubLine is a 99.9999% pure stranded copper center conductor that we sized specifically for longer runs. By keeping the strand dimensions precise, the capacitance issues that plague most longer interconnects are all but eliminated. Protecting this core is a tightly braided pure copper shield. This weave gladly absorbs rogue EMI and maintains the inner conductor's transmission integrity. Signal not only travels without adulteration, but it arrives on time and feeds your subwoofer so profoundly well, it as if your cable were merely arm's length, not several meters.
The SubLine is tipped with pure gold center pins surrounded by gold plated beryllium copper outer contacts. The contact made between connector and component is just tight enough to utilize the properties of the noble metals involved, but not so tight as to damage your equipment upon removal. Through our solderless joining method, oxygen is completely excluded from the conductor, and impedance will not drop. No oxygen translates into a cable built to last a lifetime; and with no impedance bumps, from the point of entry to the point of exit, your low-end signal remains at a constant 75 Ohms.
